Meet Sophie

Sophie has over 10 years of experience working in PE and sport, and has been a qualified teacher for the past 4 years. Her career has taken her across England, Ireland, and Australia, giving her a broad and international perspective on teaching and learning in physical education.

She is passionate about using sport as a platform to inspire and motivate children, believing that PE provides much more than physical skills. Through her teaching, Sophie aims to help pupils develop resilience, determination, teamwork, and the confidence to push themselves to achieve their best.

Having played a wide range of sports from grassroots to representative level, Sophie understands the positive impact PE can have on young people. She is committed to ensuring every child has the opportunity to benefit from the same lifelong values and opportunities that sport has provided her.

"They are professional, engaging, and passionate about sports, ensuring that every child, regardless of ability has access to varied opportunities, and feels included and motivated"

I would highly recommend Edstart Sports Coaching to any school. All the coaches, under Jordan's outstanding leadership, are highly skilled and bring out the best in all our children. During Jordan and his coaches time with St Winefride's the children's skills and PE knowledge have dramatically increased.
